Howling Heart is proud to share that young artist Phoebe returned to Garnerville, NY for this year’s Garner Art Fest, May 17–18, 2025, where she debuted her new designs and brought her interactive art to life.
Back by popular demand, Phoebe was personally invited to participate by Robin E. Rosenberg, President and Director of the GARNER Historic District of New York, after her success at Maker Faire Hudson Valley last year. With her unique talent and enthusiasm for creative engagement, Phoebe made sure this year’s Garner Art Fest was even more memorable.
At her booth, Phoebe guided children through the process of making paper puppets—an activity that brought endless smiles and creativity to the festival. Parents shared how much their kids had been looking forward to seeing Phoebe again this year, with some proudly noting that their children played with the puppets they made with her last year all year long. Over the course of the weekend, nearly sixty paper puppets were crafted, each one carrying the joy and imagination of its maker.
The connections Phoebe built went beyond art—she made friends, inspired young creators, and left a lasting impression on families who returned to experience her work again.
And this is only the beginning. Howling Heart is excited to announce that Phoebe will be bringing her puppets and interactive art-making to the upcoming Maker Faire Coney Island, October 4–5, 2025.
Stay tuned for more updates, and get ready to experience Phoebe’s creativity in action once again!
